Delete your PadiLearn account
You can delete your PadiLearn account and the data linked to it at any time, from inside the app or by email.
Option 1: in the app
- Open the PadiLearn app and sign in.
- Go to your Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Option 2: by email
If you can't use the app, email hello@padilearn.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my PadiLearn account". We'll confirm the request is yours and delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account, name, email address and password
- Your profile photo
- Your enrolments and lesson progress
- Your comments, ratings and notifications
- Payout bank details (teachers)
- Courses you created, with their videos and thumbnails (teachers)
What we keep
- Purchase records, with your account link removed, for our financial and tax records.
- Reports you made about content, so we can finish reviewing them.
- Copies in our hosting provider's backups for a short period, until they are overwritten.
Teachers whose students paid for a course: the app can't delete these accounts automatically, because deleting your courses would remove what those students paid for. Email hello@padilearn.com and we'll sort out your students' access first, then delete your account.
Delete some data, not the whole account
In the app you can delete your own comments and notifications, and teachers can delete their courses and payout details. For anything else, such as your profile photo, email hello@padilearn.com and tell us what you'd like removed.
